Oversee the entire application development life cycle, from initial concept through deployment and post-launch support.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA testers, and stakeholders, to define project scope and objectives.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
Conduct regular status meetings with the project team and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any issues or changes in project scope.
Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Manage resource allocation and workload distribution to optimize team performance and project outcomes.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and requirements.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects.
Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in application development or a related field.
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project) and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
Experience in risk management and mitigation planning.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software development.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and front-end development.
Understanding of database management and data integration processes.
Experience in managing remote or distributed teams.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
