About the role

About DysrupIT

DysrupIT is a consulting-led technology firm. We help mid-market to enterprise businesses solve business problems through technology, whether that’s consulting, execution, managed services, or staff augmentation, we take accountability for the outcome. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
Company Culture
At DysrupIT, success isn’t measured in headcount placed or hours billed, it’s measured in outcomes delivered. We’re a team that takes ownership of the work, stays curious about problems beyond our immediate scope, and builds relationships meant to grow, not just renew or end. We invest in our people with the training and support they need to grow their careers, and we back a culture where everyone, regardless of role, is encouraged to notice opportunities, ask one more question, and help lead the story for our clients, not just deliver it.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior AI Developer to build agentic solutions on Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry), along with the reusable framework that sits underneath them. You will join our client, an AI-native Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform consultancy based in Melbourne that delivers business applications and agentic solutions for clients across financial services, property, government and legal.
The work covers orchestrating agents, a governed knowledge repository, and shared skill sets and tools, all integrated with Dataverse and the Power Platform so the work lands in the applications people already use.
A typical build combines agents that run routine steps autonomously, co-pilot steps where a person reviews and approves, and human-led steps where judgement stays with the professional. You will make that governance model real in code, with approval gates, audit trails and evaluation.

Level: Senior

Location: Philippines and India

Work setup: Fully remote

Work schedule: PHT or IST

Reports to: AI Practice Lead

Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Tools and platforms: Microsoft Foundry and Foundry Agent Service, Microsoft Agent Framework, Azure OpenAI and other Foundry catalogue models, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions and Container Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, VS Code with Foundry Toolkit, GitHub, Azure DevOps

Job Responsibilities

Agentic framework: Design and build multi-agent systems on Foundry Agent Service using Microsoft Agent Framework (Python and .NET), including orchestration, hand-offs, tool calling and long-running work.

Knowledge repository: Build the ingestion, chunking, indexing and retrieval pipeline on Azure AI Search, with permission trimming, grounding and citations, so agents answer from approved sources.

Skill sets and tools: Package reusable skills and tools (Foundry toolboxes, MCP servers, Azure Functions) so new agents inherit capability rather than rebuild it.

Dataverse and Power Platform: Use Dataverse as the system of record and for agent state, connect through the Dataverse Web API, MCP and custom connectors, trigger Power Automate flows, and surface agents in Copilot Studio, Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Governance: Implement autonomy levels per step, human-in-the-loop approvals and audit logging, working with solution architects and clients’ risk teams.

Evaluation and observability: Set up tracing, evaluators, regression datasets and red-team tests, and monitor quality, latency and token cost in production.

Security: Give each agent its own Microsoft Entra identity, use managed identities and Key Vault, and design for private networking, content safety and data residency.

Delivery: Deploy with infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD through GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, across dev, test and production.

Qualifications

6+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years building LLM-based applications.

Hands-on experience delivering solutions on Azure AI Foundry, including agents, model deployments, Azure AI Search and evaluation.

Strong Python and C#/.NET skills, with solid engineering habits such as testing, code review, Git and CI/CD.

Production experience with agentic patterns, including tool use, planning, memory, multi-agent orchestration and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

Working knowledge of Azure services such as Functions, Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Entra ID and Application Insights.

Experience building Copilot Studio agents and publishing to Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Experience building or consuming MCP servers.
