About SE3
SE3 Labs builds spatial intelligence and autonomy software for unmanned systems. We combine 3D computer vision, state estimation and AI to help autonomous platforms perceive their surroundings, know where they are and operate when GPS and other sensors become unreliable. Defence is a core application of our work today.

About the Role
As Head of Marketing / Communications, you'll build our marketing team and our brand internationally, telling SE3's story to government customers, industry partners, investors and future colleagues. You'll work closely with our founders, engineers and a strong designer, ideally based with the team in Munich. Excellence in marketing matters more to us than a defence background, and we'll complement you with people who know German defence and security policy in depth.
What You'll Work On
Brand: Build a credible institutional brand around our technology and our work in the field.
Storytelling: Tell our story to government customers, industry partners, investors and the people we want to hire.
Content Quality: Own the quality of our writing, website, press and other content, and write and edit much of it yourself.
Media Relations: Build media relationships and help the founders communicate clearly.
Creative Partners: Work with design, video and subject-matter specialists to produce excellent work.
Team Building: Hire the marketing team, set the bar and stay hands-on.
Your Profile
You take ownership of outcomes and remove obstacles without waiting for direction. You turn discussions into clear decisions and decisions into deliverables, and you hold yourself and your team to a consistently high standard.
You write and tell stories excellently in English, with work to show and clarity about what you did yourself.
You have built a credible brand, ideally for a technology company, and explained complex subjects to different audiences.
You can build and lead a strong marketing team while staying hands-on.
You have a high quality bar and work well with strong designers.
You speak fluent English; German is a plus. Given the nature of SE3's work in the defence sector, candidates must be eligible to work on defence-related projects and, where required, obtain the relevant security clearance.

Agency or VC marketing experience.
