About the role

Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales, you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth and market expansion in North America. Because this is a key territory operating across a time difference from our European headquarters, you will need to be a highly motivated self-starter with the autonomy and drive to build and lead a successful sales organization independently. You will scale and inspire a high-performing team of sales professionals to evangelize our end-to-end solar development platform, playing a critical role in taking our ARR to the next level.

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets across the North American solar and data center markets.

Team Building & Scaling: Hire, manage, and mentor a high-performing B2B sales team from the ground up, fostering a culture of quality and accountability in a remote environment.

Executive Alignment: Create, communicate, and accurately forecast sales goals, ensuring C-level executives and global HQ are consistently informed on progress, pipeline health, and market penetration.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with key enterprise customers (Utility-scale developers, EPCs, hyperscalers, and data center developers). Partner with them to deeply understand their business objectives and position PVcase as a strategic solution.

Business Development: Plan and oversee all regional initiatives to rapidly expand our customer base. Promote the company’s software platform by addressing clients’ complex pain points regarding solar design, power availability, and data center site selection.

Sales Cycle Mastery: Deliver, manage, and continuously improve the full sales cycle across the North American team.

Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify new segments and customer needs within the co-development space. Stay abreast of competing markets, providing actionable reports on market movement, competitor positioning, and competitive intelligence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Share knowledge with other regional branches, Customer Success, and the Product team to leverage effective practices and highlight emerging business opportunities.

Industry Presence: Attend and represent PVcase at major conferences, tradeshows, and industry events related to both the solar market and data center/hyperscale infrastructure to expand our network and partnership opportunities.

Requirements

Experience: 10+ years of overall experience in B2B sales and/or business development, ideally within a high-growth SaaS business ($50M–$100M ARR range).

Leadership Track Record: At least 3 years in a leadership role (such as Director of Sales, Head of Sales, or similar), with a proven track record of hiring, building, and managing successful sales teams from the ground up.

Performance: Demonstrated history of increasing company performance, consistently exceeding quotas, and driving overall business leadership that results in greater profitability and market positioning.

Technical Acumen: Familiarity SaaS Tech Stack / CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a strong advantage.

Skillset: Commercial acumen combined with analytical rigor. Excellent planning, organizational, leadership, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills.

Hands-on Approach: Ability to take strong leadership in team and strategy development while remaining a hands-on teammate willing to roll up their sleeves.

Culture Fit: Strong work ethic with high energy and a willingness to learn on the job. Must be sociable, curious, creative, and passionate—aligning perfectly with PVcase’s core values.

Industry Knowledge: Ideal candidates will have proven experience selling software or services into the solar industry, data center siting/development, or the intersection of both.
