About the role

(Senior) Product Marketing Manager

Location: Berlin, Germany
Contract: 12 month, fixed term, full time, on-site

Team description

The Product Growth team within Run My Business turns new product launches into measurable merchant growth by connecting product strategy with go to market execution across SumUp's portfolio. Booking has just launched as a premium offering and the beauty industry has become a top priority category.
With both merchant and end-consumer facing interaction points, this role will help lead the charge by building and executing on a go to market playbook. It's a chance to shape positioning, launch readiness and merchant adoption for a product area SumUp is investing in heavily, working closely with Product, Go-to-market and Growth teams to accelerate SumUp's hold into the appointment management industry.

What you'll do

Own positioning, narrative and messaging for Booking with a focus on the beauty industry, including the Local marketplace, across marketing and in product touchpoints

Lead go to market readiness for every Booking and Local release, including sales and support material, web updates, frequently asked questions, pricing and messaging ahead of launch

Train and support frontline sales and operations teams so they can confidently sell and support new features from day one

Feed merchant, sales and support feedback into product roadmap discussions and help the team prioritise what to build next

Track feature adoption and activation after launch and use the data to refine go to market and channel strategy by market

What we’re looking for…

Fluency in English, written and spoken, with the confidence to work across global and local teams.

Track record of defining positioning, messaging frameworks and go to market plans in a product marketing or GTM role, ideally in SaaS, payments or marketplace businesses.

Experience feeding merchant, sales or support insight into product roadmap decisions, not only executing go to market plans.

Ability to coordinate launches across Product, Sales, Growth and Operations without a formal reporting line into those teams.

Comfort building a competitive view of positioning, pricing and segmentation across multiple markets, and using adoption and conversion data to prioritise effort.
