You take ownership of quality assurance across complex system landscapes and continuously develop the testing strategy together with the team.
You design, implement, and maintain automated tests using Java, ensuring a high and sustainable level of test automation.
You analyze requirements and system architectures, derive suitable test scenarios, and ensure quality across different system components and interfaces.
You test how different systems and technologies work together, particularly in the context of databases and Kafka.
You ensure test readiness—from test data and environments to the right tools and frameworks.
You integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, advance continuous testing, and support releases through to go-live.
You identify quality risks early, propose solutions independently, and help advance our QA and test automation approaches.

{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [
You have several years of solid professional experience in software quality assurance and can take ownership independently from day one.
Test automation is one of your core strengths, and you have extensive experience designing and implementing automated tests.
You have very strong Java skills and are confident using common test automation tools and frameworks.
You have a strong understanding of software and system architectures and can quickly grasp relationships, dependencies, and quality risks in complex system landscapes.
You have solid knowledge of databases and experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
You work independently, in an organized and solution-oriented way, quickly get up to speed on new topics, and proactively move them forward.
You communicate confidently with different stakeholders and have very good spoken and written German and English. An ISTQB certification is an advantage.
Confident communication in German and English, ideally B2 level and above
