About the role

About the Role

At Lightspeed, smooth operations and proactive execution drive our commercial success. As a Senior Sales Coordinator, you are the strategic operational backbone of the Account Management (AM) team. Beyond basic coordination, you will drive operational excellence, safeguard high-value strategic key accounts, and relieve management of high-friction administrative obstacles.

You will act as a critical cross-functional hub - taking full end-to-end ownership of complex account workflows, streamlining standardized processes across the department, and enabling the wider AM team to focus on revenue-generating opportunities and key client relationships.

***Please note that we operate a hybrid working model, which requires you to work from the office three days per week.***

What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Account Operational Ownership: Take complete end-to-end operational responsibility for critical major client accounts, coordinating complex hardware processes, international account interfaces, and location expansion rollouts seamlessly.

Management Shielding & Escalation Resolution: Proactively intercept, investigate, and independently solve complex account discrepancies (e.g., pricing errors, manual compensation, full returns) to shield management resources and protect strategic leadership bandwidth.

Cross-Functional Team Support: Serve as the centralized subject matter expert for high-friction operational procedures - such as complete end-to-end Contract Transfers across product lines - absorbing these time-intensive workflows to free up capacity for the broader Account Management team.

Process Standardization & Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks in key account workflows, establish structured review routines, and implement standardized procedures to ensure long-term consistency and error-free execution.

Interdepartmental Interface: Partner closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) Operations, technical support, and international teams to ensure swift, accurate transaction execution and flawless new location openings.

Milestone & Project Alignment: Drive strategic project milestones and maintain high-level communication channels on major enterprise projects, minimizing routine admin clutter in favor of strategic impact.

What You Need to Bring
Proven Operational Track Record: Solid experience in a senior administrative, sales operations, or account coordination role - ideally within a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.

Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated ability to independently own complex, high-stakes tasks end-to-end without requiring day-to-day managerial supervision.

Analytical Problem-Solving: Advanced capability to untangle complex system errors, audit manual discrepancies, and establish sustainable standardized workflows.

Strong Interpersonal & Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to act as a supportive reference point for peer Account Managers, taking on heavy operational lifting to elevate overall department performance.

Education & Business Acumen: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

What's in It for You
Work from Anywhere: Work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to 60 days per year.

Modern Ways of Working: A hybrid working model offering flexibility.

Stock Options: Participate in the Lightspeed Stock Option Program.

€400 Health & Wellness Budget: Supporting your physical and mental well-being.

Mental Health Support: Access to mental health resources through the Modern Health app.

Impact-Driven Environment: Join an agile team with a global vision.
