About the role

The company:

Backed by Y Combinator, is a 6‑person startup helping engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) companies in the U.S. stay on the right side of labor‑law compliance—avoiding penalties and accelerating physical infrastructure projects. With enterprise customers already in production and partnerships with leading enterprises, they are currently profitable and growing 40% every month. They are headquartered in New York City, NY.

The role:

Dili is looking to hire a remote Full-stack Software Engineer (Python/Django/React) to join the team full-time. This person will build end‑to‑end features across a Python / Django backend and React front‑end, shipping CI/CD in GitHub Actions, and using AWS to deploy via Terraform.
This engineer will collaborate directly with customers and their internal operations team, turning feedback into rapid product improvements, caring for smooth 3rd party integrations (e.g. ERPs, CRMs, HR systems, and so on), and participating in daily stand‑ups, technical planning, and continuous refactoring—working with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements:
At least 6 years of experience building and maintaining production web apps

Hands-on expertise with React (TypeScript or modern JS)

Full proficiency with Python web framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.)

Comfort with basic DevOps on AWS and CI/CD pipelines

Strong written & verbal communication in English is a must

Nice‑to‑have experience:
Terraform or other IaC tools

Building software for regulated or enterprise domains

They care more about demonstrated capability than matching every bullet—if you learn quickly and deliver, let’s talk.

This is a full-time, fully remote position in Latin America (independent contractor agreement), with close alignment to Eastern Time (New York).Originally posted on Himalayas
