Standard Metrics is an AI-driven financial data platform that helps investors and their portfolio companies make more informed, forward-looking decisions with automated reporting and benchmarking tools. We’re a team of optimistic product builders on a mission to accelerate innovation in the private markets. Come Build With Us

We are building out our Deployment team to onboard and train new customers and to ensure they are positioned for success. You will become a trusted advisor for some of the top venture capital firms and startups in the world, deeply understanding their business goals in order to implement best practices and ensure that our customers have a seamless onboarding experience.

What You’ll Do

Own the Implementation function end to end: strategy, process, tooling, staffing, and results for every customer deployment

Build and lead the Implementation team, including hiring, coaching, and developing team members and setting clear goals and performance standards

Set, track, and report on the function’s KPIs (time-to-value, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and resource utilization) and use them to drive continuous improvement

Design scalable, repeatable implementation playbooks, and leverage tooling to automate processes to drive efficiency

Serve as the lead point of contact and escalation owner for strategic and complex deployments, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at our customers

Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Data teams to scope deals accurately pre-sale, define clear hand-offs, and ensure seamless transitions post-implementation

Own capacity planning and prioritization across a portfolio of concurrent deployments, balancing customer commitments with internal resources

Bring the voice of the customer to Product to inform roadmap

What You’ll Bring

7+ years of experience in implementation, professional services, or customer onboarding, ideally within financial services, enterprise B2B SaaS, or consulting

2+ years leading a team or function, with a track record of building processes and scaling a team from the ground up

Demonstrated ownership of a function’s outcomes and metrics, not just individual projects

Strong finance knowledge; familiarity with venture capital fund and portfolio company reporting is a strong plus

Expert program and project management skills, with the ability to oversee a large portfolio of concurrent deployments

Proven ability to influence cross-functionally, Customer Experience, Product, Engineering, and Data teams

Outstanding communication skills, including comfort presenting to executives and senior customer stakeholders

A builder’s mindset: comfortable with ambiguity and energized by creating structure where little exists

Passion for technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and/or venture capital
