About the role

Context & Impact:
We’re hiring a Senior UX Designer to strengthen our UX capability as Lansweeper evolves further into a Cyber Asset Intelligence platform.
Your work will directly impact how thousands of IT administrators, security teams, SOC analysts, and engineering teams interact with complex asset, risk, and security data across hybrid environments.
As we lean more into cybersecurity-related use cases (vulnerability insights, risk & compliance, asset discovery, identity & permissions), we need a senior designer who thrives in complex B2B SaaS environments, understands technical users, and can translate intricate systems into intuitive, high‑impact product experiences.
You will be part of a cross-functional domain team (Product Manager, UX, Engineering, PMM) and report to the Director of UX. This is a senior individual contributor role with strong influence on product direction and UX maturity.
In the near future, your focus will be:
Elevating UX quality across security and asset intelligence workflows

Designing for data-heavy, role-based, multi-tenant environments

Contributing to scalable UX foundations in a fast-growing product portfolio

Challenge:
The main challenges you'll face are:
Designing end‑to‑end UX for complex cybersecurity and IT workflows

Translating technical systems, risk models, and asset intelligence data into clear, usable experiences

Balancing qualitative research, quantitative product data, and AI-augmented insights

Designing for role-based access, permissions, and multi-tenant platforms

Raising UX maturity while integrating AI-powered product experiences responsibly

Key Responsibilities:
Own the end‑to‑end UX design process: discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, delivery

Design for cybersecurity and security-adjacent use cases (vulnerability management, risk & compliance, asset visibility, permissions)

Translate complex data models and analytical dashboards into intuitive user journeys

Conduct and synthesise user research (interviews, usability testing, journey mapping) using tools like Dovetail

Leverage Pendo usage data and analytics to inform data-driven design decisions

Design flows and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and collaborate in Miro

Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency across squads

Use AI tools to augment UX workflows (research clustering, ideation, prototyping, UX writing) while critically evaluating outputs

Design AI-powered experiences with focus on trust, transparency, and explainability

Key Requirements:
Hard skills:
5+ years’ experience as a Senior UX Designer / Senior Product Designer in B2B SaaS

Experience designing cybersecurity or security-adjacent products (vulnerability management, compliance, risk posture, asset discovery, identity & access)

Proven experience with complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces

Experience designing multi-tenant platforms and role-based access / permissions

Strong expertise in Figma (mandatory) and design systems

Strong foundation in user research methodologies and usability testing

Experience using Pendo, Dovetail, or similar research & analytics tools

Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React) for effective engineering collaboration

Experience integrating AI tools into UX workflows

Soft skills:
Strong communicator comfortable challenging stakeholders and defending design decisions

Autonomous and proactive — able to drive initiatives independently

Highly collaborative in cross-functional squads (PM, Engineering, PMM)

Structured thinker who can clearly articulate UX methodology and decision-making

You’ll join the UX Team, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Product Marketing Managers in cross-functional domain squads.
Team size: 6 (4 Designers, 2 Researchers), distributed internationally and working remote-first.
