About the Role
This is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning their career in remote operations or autonomous systems. As a Remote Assistance Operator I, you will support day-to-day remote assistance operations by monitoring autonomous robots, following established workflows, and escalating issues to shift leads when needed.
This role focuses on learning core tools, safety standards, and operational procedures while working closely with experienced operators and shift leads.
Shift
This is a night shift role and requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical hours are 4 PM to 12 AM CST, five days per week.
What You’ll Do
Monitor autonomous robots using remote assistance tools and dashboards
Follow step-by-step procedures to support standard operational scenarios
Escalate technical or operational issues to shift leads or senior operators
Accurately document observations, incidents, and actions taken
Follow safety protocols and communication guidelines at all times
Learn and adapt to new tools, workflows, and process updates
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or local equivalent.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license
Language & Communication: Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher, written and spoken) for effective communication and documentation.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer proficiency and comfort using web-based tools
Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
Safety & Public Interaction:
Ability to remain calm and professional in live operational environments
Work Environment:
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in operations, monitoring, customer support, or technical support
Familiarity with Google Workspace or Slack
Interest in technology, robotics, or operations
