About the role

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Sea Domain, you will be the strategic voice of Quantum Systems’ maritime autonomous solutions. You will define and drive the global go-to-market strategy for our Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) and Uncrewed Underwater Vehicle (UUV) portfolios. You will bridge the gap between complex engineering and operational mission effectiveness, ensuring our value propositions resonate with naval operators and defence stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Content Creation, you will serve as the domain expert within the Global Marketing team. Your mission is to translate high-end maritime technology into compelling narratives that differentiate Quantum Systems in the global naval market.

What is your Day to Day Mission:
Analyze global naval market trends, mission requirements, and competitive developments in close collaboration with Product Management to identify strategic market opportunities for USV and UUV systems.

Develop clear and compelling product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that differentiate our maritime solutions across naval, coast guard, and maritime security applications.

Lead and execute comprehensive Go-to-Market strategies for new product launches, feature releases, and software capabilities in close alignment with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales.

Own the creation of marketing assets, including sales decks, solution briefs, battle cards, white papers and case studies by briefing the content team

Translate complex technical capabilities and maritime scenarios into operational narratives for naval operators and procurement organizations.

Drive market intelligence in collaboration with Product Management by conducting customer surveys and competitive analysis to provide recommendations for marketing.

Establish strong interfaces with Product Management and Engineering to transform technical information into creative, mission-relevant content.

Support the global sales team by providing effective communication materials and product guides for high-stakes procurement processes.

Govern the content roadmap for the Sea Domain, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels, including websites, blog posts, and videos.

What you bring to the team:

Extensive experience in strategic product marketing, ideally within the naval, maritime security, or defence technology sector.

Proven track record in developing GTM strategies and positioning complex technical systems for B2B or B2G markets.

High ability to translate sophisticated technology (AI, sensor integration, autonomous systems) into customer benefits.

Strong conceptual skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across international matrix organizations.

High level of ownership and a strategic mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills in German; proficiency in English is a significant advantage.

Domain expertise in maritime operations, including USV/UUV systems, Mine Countermeasures (MCM), Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR), and Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) would be appreciated.

Understanding of NATO capability development and naval procurement processes would be of help.

Ideally located in Rostock to work closely with the Sea Domain Product Management and operational teams.
