What you will be doing:
This position is accountable for ensuring:
Administration and Management of complex networking solutions in enterprise data centers and remote offices worldwide.
Extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches.
Advanced knowledge of ARP, MAC Address Table, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, EtherChannel, Switch Stacking, HSRP/VRRP, Access Lists (ACLs), and NAT.
Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Enterprise LAN and WAN.
Comprehensive knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE), and routing/switching principles.
Hands-on experience in implementing security measures like access control lists (ACLs) and firewall policies to protect the network
Must have experience in enterprise network operations in handling escalation and severity cases.
Coordination with ISP, clients and onsite technical teams for troubleshooting network and security incidents.
Providing permanent remediation for affected endpoints in our network environment
Documenting network issues related to Incidents with in-depth event logs, RCA, and evidence
IOS/firmware upgrade in Cisco network devices as and when required
Good to have experience in configuring and troubleshooting CISCO wireless controllers, Aerohive Products.
Excellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to Manage client interactions and escalations, ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution of critical issues.
Facilitate P2/P1 Technical calls from the network's end, demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to de-escalate situations and provide clear, concise updates to clients.
What we need from you:
5-10 years of experience implementing and managing multi-vendor network solutions.
Extensive experience in Routing and Switching.
Prior experience collaborating with global clients from the US, Europe, and APAC regions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage client expectations and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions and efficiently managing client escalations. CCNA or CCNP Certifications are an asset.
