The Role

As our Senior System Administrator, you will play a key role in operating, maintaining, and continuously improving our internal IT environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Berlin office at Chausseestraße, where you'll provide hands-on support, manage our workplace infrastructure, and ensure our systems remain secure, scalable, and reliable. 

This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking strategically while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day operations. From end-user support and endpoint management to networking, infrastructure, automation, and security, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across our entire IT landscape.

You'll be the go-to technical contact for internal IT, help establish and improve processes, drive continuous improvements, and step in wherever your expertise is needed.

What You’ll Do

Operate, maintain, and continuously improve our internal IT infrastructure and services

Provide high-quality IT support to employees (hardware, software, account administration, access management, and workplace support)

Manage Windows and macOS endpoints, from provisioning and configuration to ongoing maintenance

Administer user accounts, permissions, and identity and access management (IAM)

Maintain and further develop our network infrastructure

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure issues

Automate recurring administrative tasks and operational workflows

Strengthen our security posture by implementing and improving technical security controls and best practices

Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners

Evaluate, introduce, and leverage modern technologies, including AI-powered tools that improve automation, operational efficiency, and employee productivity

What We're Looking For

Several years of hands-on experience in systems administration, internal IT, or IT infrastructure

Strong expertise in administering both Windows and macOS environments

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g. DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP) and IT security best practices 

Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Experience with endpoint management and end-user IT support

Interest in modern AI-powered tools for IT operations, automation, and productivity

A pragmatic, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving 

A strong service mindset with excellent communication skills

Professional proficiency in English

German language skills are a plus
