Schedule: 1PM-10PM MNL, but it might change to a graveyard shift

This is a full-time role responsible for ensuring the quality and usability of products across web, mobile, and API platforms. The position requires a mix of exploratory testing, automated test development, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Support teams.

What does a day in the life as a Software QA Tester (Automation Testing)look like?

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.

Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and API testing across products and services.

Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.

Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers during requirement refinement, sprint planning, and release validation.

Contribute to automated testing initiatives and help improve overall test coverage.

Validate software behavior across multiple browsers, devices, and environments.

Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts related to product quality and release processes.

Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What are the required qualifications for a Software QA Tester (Automation Testing)?

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycles, and release processes.

Experience testing modern web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.

Familiarity with test automation frameworks and automated regression testing concepts.

Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Postman, browser developer tools, and SQL.

Understanding of HTTP requests, REST APIs, and client/server application behavior.

Ability to investigate issues, reproduce bugs, and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in an Agile development environment.

Curiosity, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to improving product quality.

Preferred skills:

Experience with automated UI testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

Experience validating payment flows, transactional systems, or third-party integrations.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment environments.
