MANTECHseeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented CSII Software Developer to join our team. This position is fully Remote but requires working hours aligned to a team on the East Coast.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide software development services for a military application

Participate in systems analysis, design definition, software development, systems test, implementation, and maintenance

Analyze coding problems and develop improvements to procedures and existing software

Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code

Cultivate and apply a security-first and test-first approach to test-driven development

Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in cloud and containerized environments

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study including Computer Science, Mathematics or Information Technology. A bachelor’s degree can be substituted for 4 years of additional experience.

Four (4) or more years of experience in Software Development

Proficiency in Java programming language and familiarity with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, Apache Camel)

Experience with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application frameworks (e.g., Spring MVC, Thymeleaf)

Familiarity with relational databases and SQL (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum

Proven expertise to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement high-quality code

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Information Technology.

Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React) and modern web development tools

Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure

Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows

Clearance Requirements:
Must hold a current/active Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $117,000.00-$195,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
