We're now expanding into Germany and strengthening our Compliance Team to uphold the company's commitment to integrity and regulatory adherence.
What you'll do
Ensure operational excellence in all relevant compliance areas while aligning with BaFin’s regulatory guidelines.
Provide expert compliance advice on current and future products, services, and overarching compliance topics such as product governance, vulnerable customers, conflict of interest, outsourcing, and conduct risk.
Support and drive compliance projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results within agreed timelines.
Oversee the financial promotions review process, ensuring all materials meet regulatory standards.
Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures, ensuring effective implementation across the organization.
Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, offering tailored compliance guidance to support business objectives.
Collaborate with the Legal team to manage regulatory interactions, including the relationship with BaFin.
What you need to have
Proven experience in compliance, with a track record of driving operational excellence within a MiFID-regulated firm.
Educated to degree level in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Professional proficiency in English, with German language skills considered a strong advantage.
At least five years of experience in a compliance-focused role, with exposure to senior responsibilities.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and guidelines, particularly those relevant to BaFin.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to take ownership and deliver under pressure.
Experience working in international environments, coordinating across different time zones using digital tools.
