About the role

Description
Quantic is looking for a detail-oriented Instructional Designer (contractor) to assist our instructional design team in creating an online Bachelor’s Degree program. In this role, you will review, refine, and format digital lessons within our platform to guarantee alignment with internal formatting and quality standards. We will provide training on how to use our proprietary e-learning platform.
Key Responsibilities

Content Development: Read, review, edit, and refine educational lessons in our proprietary e-learning platform, efficiently and accurately.

Quality Assurance: Verify formatting, functionality, instructional design flow, and overall accuracy.

Team Collaboration: Seamlessly communicate and collaborate with the other members of our Instructional Design team.

Tracking: Maintain thorough and accurate records of progress and completion.

Meetings: Zoom meetings may occur 1-3x a week.

Requirements

Requirements:

At least 2 years of instructional design experience.

A strong understanding of instructional design concepts and e-learning software (e.g. experience with programs such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar).

A strong technical prowess/ background, able to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.

A Bachelor’s degree is required. If a contract is offered, transcripts will be required per our accreditation standards.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A high level of organizational skills and highly detail-oriented.

Excellent and timely communication skills, including providing and sticking to a schedule.

A plus if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Experience designing or delivering educational curriculum at the university level.

Hands-on experience with G Suite.

Logistics:

20-40 hours per week, though we may give preference to candidates who can devote 35-40 hours per week.

2-3 months of work, which may optionally extend longer

1099 contractor

100% remote

Hourly rate $40-$45/hour, depending on experience/qualifications

Contractor must possess own computer equipment and internet access
