About the role

About the Role
We're an early-stage, AI-powered marketplace connecting Gen Z college students and young professionals with brand partners for paid work opportunities — from quick micro-tasks to longer-term gigs. Think of us as the talent and hiring platform built for the next generation, sitting at the intersection of the gig economy, career development, and brand marketing.
As our Growth Marketing Manager, you'll own full-funnel growth across two distinct audiences: student acquisition and brand partner expansion. You'll run paid and organic campaigns, design growth loops, and use AI tools to move fast and stay efficient. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role where you'll partner directly with senior leadership to shape strategy and execute.
This is a hybrid role based in Santa Monica, CA, with on-site presence required per company policy. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What You'll Do
Own execution and optimization of paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Google Search/YouTube, Meta (Instagram), TikTok, and retargeting channels.

Rapidly test new creative, audiences, and placements to reduce CAC and improve efficiency.

Leverage AI tools to scale ideation, creative production, copywriting, targeting experiments, and reporting.

Explore scrappy, unconventional growth tactics and organic channels (SEO/AEO, social, partnerships) alongside paid efforts.

Design and execute campaigns that move both students and brand partners from awareness to conversion.

Collaborate with sales to align brand-facing campaigns with pipeline goals.

Help run student acquisition programs including referral loops and ambassador initiatives.

Build and iterate nurture sequences to keep leads and users engaged across the funnel.

Support onboarding and lifecycle campaigns that drive student activity and brand partner retention.

Help execute upsell/cross-sell campaigns for existing brand partners.

Monitor and optimize retention metrics to improve LTV and reduce churn.

Track and analyze key growth metrics: CAC, CPL, MQLs, conversion rates, LTV, retention, and channel ROI.

Build dashboards and share insights regularly with leadership.

Run A/B tests across ad creative, landing pages, email sequences, and messaging.

Partner with creative to develop ad assets, landing pages, and case studies.

Collaborate with product to improve conversion flows and identify built-in growth loops.

Stay current on Gen Z trends, channel updates, and AI-driven growth tactics.

What We're Looking For
Required:
3–5 years of experience managing full-funnel digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and TikTok.

Proficiency with analytics and campaign measurement using Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Meta Ads Manager.

Experience using HubSpot for marketing automation, campaign tracking, and lead management.

Demonstrated ability to conduct organic growth experiments and implement product-led growth loops.

Strong track record of collaborating with senior leadership to develop and execute growth strategy.

Ability to work in a hybrid environment with required on-site presence.

Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Gen Z culture, behavior, and content trends.

Experience marketing a two-sided marketplace or platform product.

Hands-on experience using AI tools for marketing automation, content generation, or campaign optimization.

Background in gig economy, staffing, career tech, or B2B/B2C hybrid platforms.
