We are responsible for provisioning, managing and supporting the IT / Enterprise DB Infrastructure. We ensure efficient functioning and high availability of this infrastructure - Databases, Cloud Services, platforms and applications.

As a Database Administrator, you'll focus on the operations, health and optimization of our mission-critical databases. You'll be collaborating with global teams to ensure efficient support and operations.
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:

Performing day-to-day Oracle DB operations, user management, access provisioning, and resolving issues.

Supporting and maintaining Oracle RAC environments hosted over ExaCC, navigating both multitenant and non-multitenant databases on shared clusters.

Managing OEM alerts, resolving incidents and performing routine database health checks and optimizations.

Performing database refreshes using extensive knowledge of Oracle Data Pump and its parameters, in addition to RMAN expertise.

Conducting routine health checks, executing tasks, and troubleshooting MS SQL Server environment issues equipped with Always On and Mirroring.

Automating routine operational tasks and creating clear, comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the team.

Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:

Hold a High school / bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of study (or equivalent experience)

Have 5+ years of Experience in Data Base operations

Demonstrate comprehensive foundational expertise in Oracle Database administration (RAC, OEM, RMAN, Data Pump, DG) and effective problem-solving abilities.

Manage SQL Server maintenance plans, including index updates, backups, restores, recovery models, TDE, CDC, and event-driven alerts.

Provide 24/5 rotational support with on-call responsibilities and exhibit readiness to document procedures and develop standard operating protocols.

Have a good understanding of ITIL frameworks including incident, problem, and change management processes.

Leverage familiarity or hands-on experience with GG microservices, Exacc, MySQL or PostgreSQL to enhance project outcomes effectively
