What you’ll be part of:
Circle is committed to visibility and stability in everything we do. As we grow as an organization, we're expanding into some of the world's strongest jurisdictions. Speed and efficiency are motivators for our success and our employees live by our company values: High Integrity, Future Forward, Multistakeholder, Mindful, and Driven by Excellence. We have built a flexible work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder.
What you’ll be responsible for:
You will own Circle’s unmanaged international portfolio, covering priority countries that do not yet have a dedicated country manager or growth lead. This role is accountable for ensuring these markets receive the right level of commercial attention, strategic structure, and cross-functional coordination without requiring a full in-country build. You will be responsible for helping identify priority opportunities, rolling out repeatable market-entry and growth motions, and stepping into one-off country projects where dedicated ownership is not yet in place.
What you’ll work on:

Owning day-to-day coverage of Circle’s unmanaged country portfolio, ensuring priority markets continue to move forward even without dedicated in-country leadership.

Identifying and prioritizing the highest-potential countries, clients, and opportunities across the unmanaged portfolio, and ensuring they are routed to the right business and functional owners.

Rolling out light-touch, repeatable market motions across unmanaged countries, including client prioritization, market-entry planning, and agentic / AI-enabled execution tools.

Acting as the central coordinator for unmanaged-country execution across business, legal, compliance, policy, product, marketing, and operations.

Supporting one-off strategic projects such as launching a new country, building a business plan, pressure-testing a GTM model, preparing a market for future managed coverage, or coordinating response to new in-market opportunities.

Developing practical country-level views for unmanaged markets, including key metrics, regulatory posture, major client opportunities, and required next steps.

What you’ll bring to Circle:
Core Requirements:

12+ years of experience in business development, growth, market expansion, strategy, program leadership, or general management.

Proven experience operating across multiple countries or markets with differing regulatory, commercial, and operational conditions.

Strong commercial instincts with a bias toward action, execution, and measurable outcomes.

Ability to quickly assess markets, identify the highest-value opportunities, and translate ambiguity into a practical action plan.

Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, BD, Product, Marketing, Policy, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.

Strong understanding of crypto markets, stablecoins, payments, financial infrastructure, or institutional financial flows.

Ability to operate independently across a broad portfolio while maintaining strong judgment on prioritization and escalation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex market situations into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience building or scaling international expansion programs, frontier-market motions, or multi-country growth portfolios.

Track record of creating repeatable operating playbooks, lightweight GTM structures, or market-entry frameworks.

Experience using data, automation, or AI-enabled workflows to improve execution across distributed markets.

Strong cultural fluency and experience working across distributed, cross-border teams.

Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
