About the role

Junior Talent Acquisition Manager - Join Our Innovative Team at think-cell Software

Our Story

At think-cell, we create powerful software solutions that help professionals be more efficient and productive. Founded in 2002 and based in Berlin, our tools integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Office to help users create presentations, charts, and diagrams with ease. Our dynamic, international team values creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a curious and driven Junior Talent Acquisition Manager to support our technical hiring, with a strong focus on our world-class C++ Engineering team. You don't need to have done this before at a high level, but you need to be eager to learn, creative enough to figure things out on your own, and resilient enough to keep going when the process gets tough.

Key Responsibilities:

Support recruiting efforts for tech roles, with a growing focus on sourcing engineers and hiring top-tier C++ engineers.

Learn and experiment with creative sourcing strategies that go beyond LinkedIn and traditional channels.

Actively map talent markets, identify niche communities, and engage with passive candidates globally.

Work closely with Hiring Managers to understand what they are looking for and adjust your approach accordingly.

Represent think-cell at technical events, conferences, meetups, and universities to expand our talent pipeline.

Maintain a high bar for quality while filling roles efficiently in a competitive global market.

Help shape our employer branding in the tech space, refining messaging and outreach strategies.

You will be great for this position if you have

A curious and self-driven mindset, always looking for new ways to find people instead of waiting to be told how.

Some exposure to sourcing or recruiting, but more importantly, a real excitement to develop these skills fast.

A creative approach to problem-solving, especially when it comes to reaching hard-to-find technical profiles for a world-class C++ team.

A resilient attitude, our C++ hiring bar is extremely high, and even strong candidates sometimes don't make it through. You take that as motivation, not a setback.

Coachability and openness to feedback from Hiring Managers, engineers, and candidates.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with experienced stakeholders.

Comfort attending and representing think-cell at industry events.

Berlin-based (or willing to relocate), with flexibility for occasional travel.

Willingness to work on-site 4 days per week, with 1 remote day.

Our Values

As part of our team, you will embody and help shape the following principles that define us:

Forward Thinking: We embrace change and challenge the status quo.

Ownership: We take pride in our work and learn from our mistakes.

Customer First: We prioritize delivering lasting value.

Unified Team: We foster collaboration, respect, and integrity.

Strive for Excellence: We set ambitious goals and pursue quality.

We believe in a human hiring process, every application is personally reviewed.
