About the role

Work Setup: Remote

Contract Type: Seasonal (2 months)

Target Start: ASAP

Schedule:8AM- 5PM PST

Equipment provision: BYOD (Bring your own device)

Job Summary:The SEO Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve online visibility and drive organic traffic.

What does a day in the life of an SEO Analyst look like?

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic

Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities and optimize content

Implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing meta tags, headers, URLs, and content

Perform technical SEO audits and recommend solutions to improve website performance, crawlability, and indexing

Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content

Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings

Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools

Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the market

Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices

Adhere to company policies and procedures

Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs

Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules

Collaborate with other departments as needed

Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times

Perform other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications of an SEO Analyst?

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience

At least 1 year of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related role

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets

Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.

Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ months Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
