About the role

Calix is looking for a Lead Business Writer, Communications (Remote – USA) who can identify, shape, and write compelling stories for one of our most visible external communications channels: press releases. Calix press releases play a pivotal role in shaping how customers, analysts, investors, media, and the broader market understand our company and the success of our customers, partners, and brand. This means you'll join a small, high-performing communications team with an outsized impact on Calix's external narrative. We care deeply about craft, credibility, and quality. We believe great stories are built through thoughtful reporting, rigorous editing, and relentless revision. Calix embraces the secure use of AI and agentic AI tools as part of the editorial process. We expect this role to have practical experience using approved AI tools securely and responsibly to accelerate research, story development, drafting, and revision.
