About the Role
Join a fast-growing, Series A/B-backed EdTech company building an AI-powered learning platform used by tens of millions of students across 30+ countries. As an Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside a talented and international engineering team to contribute to real product features that help students learn more effectively — from AI tutoring tools to study resources and beyond.
This is a hands-on internship where you'll be embedded in the team and expected to ship meaningful work. The internship runs for 3–6 months and is based in Berlin, Germany.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the development and improvement of features across a mobile-first, AI-driven learning platform

Write clean, well-tested code in one or more languages (e.g. Python, Java, or JavaScript)

Collaborate with engineers and product managers in an agile environment

Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions

Take ownership of scoped tasks and deliver them end-to-end with guidance from senior engineers

What We're Looking For
Required:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, or JavaScript), demonstrated through coursework, personal projects, or a prior internship

Ability to commit to the full internship duration (3–6 months) with a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs

A portfolio or examples of coding work (e.g. a GitHub profile or project repository)

Nice to Have:
Prior experience in a tech startup or product-focused engineering environment

Familiarity with mobile app development (iOS/Android) or web development

Interest in EdTech, AI, or consumer-facing applications

Location
Berlin, Germany — on-site
