About the role

About the Role
A fast-growing, pre-seed AI-powered energy management SaaS startup — backed by leading European venture investors — is hiring a Founders' Associate / Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the founding team. This role sits at the intersection of outbound enterprise sales, strategic project ownership, and operational support, and is central to building the company's go-to-market engine across the DACH region.
You will be an extension of the founders: owning projects end-to-end, driving pipeline, shaping positioning, and helping steer the company's direction. This is an ideal role for a high-ownership generalist who thrives in ambiguity and wants to make a measurable impact at an early-stage company in the energy sector.
Work arrangement: On-site in Munich, approximately 4 days per week. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain a strong enterprise sales pipeline across DACH in close partnership with the founding team.

Run outbound execution — cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach — with tailored, insight-driven messaging.

Refine ICP, targeting strategy, and value propositions based on market and prospect feedback.

Produce high-quality sales enablement materials: pitch decks, one-pagers, follow-ups, and business cases to improve conversion rates.

Join discovery calls to surface customer insights and translate them into sharper positioning and messaging.

Support investor relations — prepare investor updates, key reporting materials, and strategic briefings.

Lead high-priority special projects end-to-end, including market research, partnership development, and internal initiatives.

Contribute to marketing content and event preparation (newsletters, social content, messaging).

Rapidly develop deep knowledge of energy markets and the product to continuously improve sales and product direction.

Operate autonomously in ambiguous environments and iterate on team processes as the company scales.

What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
3+ years of experience in enterprise sales or outbound demand generation, with a track record of building and delivering top-of-funnel pipeline in the DACH region.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and act as an extension of a founding team in a startup environment, owning projects end-to-end.

Experience preparing investor updates and collaborating on investor relations.

Skilled at creating and delivering sales enablement materials (decks, one-pagers, business cases) and refining messaging using market feedback.

Proficiency with tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Notion, and Google Workspace.

Knowledge of energy markets — or a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn them — and translate insights into sales and product improvements.

Strong German language skills (essential for DACH outreach and customer engagement).

Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, ownership-driven, and able to operate with limited structure.

Nice-to-haves:
Experience in energy sector partnerships or procurement contexts.

Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar enterprise sales methodologies.

Background at industrial, energy, or technology companies (e.g. in sectors such as manufacturing, utilities, or industrial technology).

Location
This role is based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. You'll work on-site with the founding team approximately 4 days per week. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: €60,000 – €90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Early-stage equity opportunity and direct exposure to company building from the ground up.

Work closely with a high-calibre founding team and experienced investors shaping the future of industrial energy management.
