About the role

When our values align, there's no limit to what we can achieve.

At Parexel, we all share the same goal - to improve the world's health. From clinical trials to regulatory, consulting, and market access, every clinical development solution we provide is underpinned by something special - a deep conviction in what we do.
Each of us, no matter what we do at Parexel, contributes to the development of a therapy that ultimately will benefit a patient. We take our work personally, we do it with empathy and we're committed to making a difference.
Parexel is in the business of improving the world’s health. We do this by providing a suite of biopharmaceutical services that help clients across the globe transform scientific discoveries into new treatments. We believe in our values, Patients First, Quality, Respect, Empowerment & Accountability.
This role will work within our innovative Data & Technology group that continues to evolve to meet business needs, fuel Parexel's growth and enable improved support for stakeholders, including customers and ultimately patients, who will benefit from Parexel's integrated processes and systems.
This role can be based in either Poland or Romania and can be fully home based and remote working anywhere in either of these two locations only.
As the Director, AI Translation & Adoption you will own the adoption posture for AI across Parexel — making sure the right AI capabilities reach the right people, in language they can use, at the right moment. You will be the connective tissue between AI Enablement and the organizations that drive change at scale: Organizational Change Management , L&D, Corporate Communications, and the Single Point Of Contact and change ambassador networks. You will lead a team that translates highly technical AI concepts into accessible, accurate, and useful information for non-technical audiences, and curates the AI education and communications calendar to match strategic priority rather than engineer availability. You will not duplicate the work of partner organizations — you will equip them to deliver AI-related change with confidence.
We are looking for someone who is deeply curious about how technology gets adopted in real organizations, and who has the rare ability to translate complex technical concepts into plain language without losing accuracy. You will be comfortable aggregating information across many sources, distilling what matters, and getting it in front of the right people at the right time. You will partner across functions, read the room, and understand that adoption happens through trust as much as through training. You will have experience working with change management, communications, or learning organizations, and know how to make those partnerships productive. You must be comfortable being the AI subject-matter authority in a room of non-technical stakeholders, and know when to lead and when to step back and let your partners do their best work.
Key Accountabilities:
AI Adoption Strategy & Curation

Own the AI adoption posture across Parexel: what gets emphasized, when, and to whom.

Curate the AI communications and education calendar to match strategic priority — not the order in which engineers happen to ask for visibility.

Translation & Liaison

Lead the function's work translating technical AI concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences, while serving as the technical-accuracy check on AI messaging across Parexel.

Brief OCM, L&D, Corporate Communications, and the SPOC and change ambassador networks on AI direction and updates.

Education Programming

Oversee the AI education calendar — lunch and learns, speaker series, role-based learning paths, and topical sessions.

Partner with L&D on delivery infrastructure (Cornerstone, internal learning platforms).

Cross-Functional Partnerships

Operate as a service to partner organizations: OCM, L&D, Corporate Communications, and others bring AI-related needs to the function leader, who triages, prioritizes, and allocates the team's capacity to respond.

Treat that capacity as a structural commitment — partner organizations should be able to plan their AI-related work expecting the team's bandwidth, not hope for it as available.

Team Leadership

Lead a team responsible for adoption liaison, translation, and education programming.

Develop the team's AI fluency and translation skill over time.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree required; field flexible (technical, communications, organizational psychology, or related).

Advanced degree in a related field preferred.

Skills:

Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills across formats (briefings, presentations, written content, working sessions).

Strong stakeholder management and partnership skills, especially with change management, communications, and learning organizations.

Sound judgment in curating what messages reach which audiences at what time.

Comfortable as the AI subject-matter authority in non-technical settings; equally comfortable deferring to subject-matter experts when appropriate.

Knowledge and Experience:

Strong demonstratable experience in high level roles at Director level that combine technology and communications — adoption leadership, technical product marketing, change management for technology programs, or similar.

Strong working knowledge of AI and generative AI concepts; able to maintain credibility with technical teams while staying accessible to non-technical audiences.

Experience partnering with organizational change management, learning and development, and corporate communications functions.

Familiarity with adoption metrics and the operational definitions of adoption (active usage, integrated workflow, demonstrated value).

Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, healthcare, financial services) preferred.

In return we will be able to offer you a structured career pathway and encouragement to develop within the role including awareness and understanding of the industry. You will be well supported and in return for your hard work you will be rewarded with a competitive base salary, bonus, car allowance and holiday as well as other leading benefits you would expect with a top company in the CRO Industry.
