About the role

About Us
Pomelo places the best offshore talent with top brands, startups, and agencies across the globe. We enable hard-working and ambitious talent to work remotely from their home countries, while gaining exposure into how the world’s top companies operate.
About the Role
Our client is a culturally-conscious talent management agency that celebrates Black digital talent. They are seeking an Outreach Specialist to drive the offensive side of their sales engine. This role is responsible for everything they earn by going out and getting it: targeted LinkedIn outreach, casting submissions, brand and platform applications, and the daily care and feeding of our AI pitching infrastructure.
This is a volume role with judgment. You will move quickly across many opportunities a day, conduct disciplined LinkedIn outreach to brand and agency contacts, submit castings on behalf of our roster, fill out brand application forms, manage outputs from our AI pitching tooling, and keep the pipeline of net-new conversations alive. Warm replies hand off to the Brand Partnerships Specialist for negotiation and close.
Responsibilities

Run High-Volume Castings. Submit roughly 20 well-matched castings per day on behalf of our roster. Read briefs closely, choose the right talent, attach the correct materials, and write a short, persuasive submission note that reflects each creator's voice.

Drive LinkedIn Outreach. Conduct targeted LinkedIn outreach to brand marketers, agency leads, and decision-makers. Personalize meaningfully, track every touch, and convert connections into qualified conversations.

Complete Platform Forms and Applications. Apply talent and the agency to brand opportunities, accelerator programs, and platform-driven open calls. Treat every form as a pitch, not a checkbox.

Pitch with Story, Not Stats. Write short, sharp storytelling pitches that lead with the creator's narrative and category fit, not generic stats. You will be given a clear brand voice and brand examples to model from.

Manage AI-Assisted Pitching. Monitor, refine, and clean outputs from our AI pitching tooling daily. Ensure every machine-generated message reflects agency voice, accurate talent positioning, and current brand priorities. AI is your accelerant, not your auto-pilot.

Maintain the Outbound Record. Keep a clear, dated record of who has been pitched, what they responded with, and when to re-engage. Hand off warm replies to the Brand Partnerships Specialist with full context.

Spot Opportunity Lanes. Identify category gaps, brand whitespace, and seasonal moments where the roster is underexposed and proactively build pitch lists against them. Think in waves, not single touches.

Report Cleanly. Provide a clear weekly summary to the Principal: castings submitted, LinkedIn touches, applications filed, AI pitches sent, replies received, and any patterns worth attention.

Qualifications

1–3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, PR, talent management, brand partnerships outreach, or a comparable outbound role.

Excellent professional written English. Native or near-native fluency required.

Strong short-form writing skills — you can write a 75-word pitch or LinkedIn message that reads like a person, not a template.

Demonstrated comfort with LinkedIn outreach at volume — targeting, personalization, and disciplined follow-up cadences.

Fluency with AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) used for outbound work. Bonus for experience with dedicated outbound tooling (Smartlead, Apollo, or comparable).

Familiarity with influencer casting platforms, brand application forms, and the broader creator economy ecosystem.

Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working from a daily / weekly output dashboard.

Reliable, professional remote work setup with stable internet and the ability to take calls when needed.

Overlap with US Eastern Time hours required.
