About the role

Engagement: 1099 finder. Percentage of teaming-led contract value. Location: Remote.
A note from the founder
Federal primes need MBE-eligible subs to hit their workforce diversity goals. MBE workforce firms need primes to win the contracts that move the math. The teaming relationship is where federal procurement actually happens.
But most MBE workforce firms cannot get a seat at the prime's table. And most primes cannot find the MBE subs that can actually deliver.
The Wilkinson Firm is MBE-certified, post-revenue, with HR Advisory and PHES delivery capacity. We need teaming connectors who can introduce us to the federal primes pursuing workforce strategy, BH support, or hospitality contracts.
This is a finder's fee role with a clear climb. Mission-aligned starter percentage. Real upside as teaming agreements convert to awards.
What you would do

Introduce TWF to federal primes pursuing relevant workforce, BH, or hospitality contracts

Position the introduction with substance (prime mandate, NAICS, anticipated set-aside)

Coordinate warm hand-off to TWF Director of RFP Pursuits and leadership

Track introduction through teaming agreement, proposal submission, and award

Compensation - Climbing Ladder
Stage 1 (first 3 teaming introductions, mission-aligned starter):

1% of first-year contract value on teaming-led wins

$1,000 minimum per closed teaming agreement that wins

Paid 30 days after first contract invoice clears

Stage 2 (after 3 closed teaming wins OR one award above $500K):

2% of first-year contract value

$2,500 minimum

No cap

Recurring 1% on Year 2-5 contract value

Stage 3 (after 5 closed wins + sustained quality):

3% of first-year contract value

2% recurring Year 2-5

$5,000 minimum

Senior advisor track opens

Named GovCon advisory board consideration

Who we want

Has closed at least 2 teaming agreements that resulted in awards

Bonus: Prior role at a federal prime in capture, BD, or partnership leadership. MBE-specific networks (MBDA, NMSDC, regional MBE councils).
Who we are not for

Anyone who has never read an FBO/sam.gov solicitation
