About This Role
At Boston Scientific, your work helps advance innovative cardiac technologies that improve patients’ lives. As a Senior Field Clinical Engineer, you will play a key, hands-on role in supporting both pre- and post-market clinical trials, working directly with leading cardiac centers in Czechia and across Europe.
This role is ideal for someone who values autonomy, ownership, and close collaboration with clinicians. You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of clinical trial activities at assigned sites, acting as a trusted clinical and technical partner for investigators and hospital teams. The position offers strong visibility within an international clinical organization and exposure to European-level clinical programs.
The role is based in the Czech Republic and requires regular travel within Czechia and across Europe to support clinical activities.
Work mode: Remote, with up to 50% travel.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will serve as a key clinical interface between Boston Scientific and investigational sites. You will support studies from early site engagement through patient enrollment and follow-up, directly contributing to study quality, patient safety, and the successful development of future cardiac therapies.
You will work independently in the field while remaining closely connected to a collaborative, international clinical team.
What You Will Do:

Own the day-to-day execution of clinical trials within your assigned territory, ensuring sites are prepared, supported, and engaged throughout the study lifecycle.

Act as the primary point of contact for investigators and site staff, providing clinical, technical, and procedural expertise.

Support site qualification, initiation, and enrollment readiness activities, including IRB support and investigator training.

Deliver hands-on technical support during electrophysiology (EP) procedures and follow-up visits, working directly in cath lab and clinical environments.

Build trusted, long-term relationships with physicians and clinical teams, supporting sustained engagement in clinical programs.

Lead clinical initiatives and projects, contributing to continuous improvement of study execution and site performance.

Collaborate closely with internal clinical, regulatory, and commercial stakeholders to ensure aligned and effective trial delivery.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.

Experience in the medical device industry, clinical research, field clinical engineering, sales support, or as a cardiac physiologist.

Hands-on experience in electrophysiology (EP) ablation procedures.

Ability to work independently in a field-based role, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with physicians and clinical stakeholders.

Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel within Europe.

Nice to Have:

Experience with EP mapped ablation procedures

Familiarity with clinical trial operations, site management, and clinical documentation

What We Offer:
At Boston Scientific, we support our employees both professionally and personally. In this role, you can expect:

Private medical care, lunch card and life insurance

Annual performance-based bonus

Company car or car allowance to support frequent travel within Czechia and across Europe

Flexible working model with a remote setup and autonomy in organizing your field activities

Continuous learning and development opportunities, including technical training, clinical education, and participation in international projects

Collaboration within a highly skilled, international clinical team across Europe

The opportunity to work closely with leading hospitals and physicians while supporting clinical programs across Czechia and other European countries

A company culture focused on innovation, ethics, and meaningful patient impact
