About the role

What's the role about?
As a New Business Account Executive based in Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, or Guatemala, you'll join a dedicated team focused on driving Devlane's growth as a premier nearshore staff augmentation partner, helping U.S.-based companies scale their engineering teams with top-tier Latin American talent. We're seeking candidates who are highly proficient in full-cycle B2B sales, proactive outbound prospecting, CRM management (Pipedrive), and strategic collaboration with marketing teams, and who are passionate about driving innovation and delivering exceptional results.
What do we require from you?

Minimum 3 years of experience in sales (B2B experience is preferred).

At least 3 years of experience working with full-cycle sales, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing.

Proficiency in English at an advanced and fluent level (mandatory), as you will be engaging directly with U.S. clients.

Experience in the IT Staff Augmentation or B2B tech services industry is a plus.

Flexibility and willingness to perform brief, periodic travels to the U.S. (starting after the first 6 months).

Responsibilities:

Inbound Lead Qualification: Act as the primary point of contact for inbound leads (website, phone, social media, etc.), assessing fit and qualifying them to advance to the discovery stage.

Discovery Call Facilitation: Lead and participate in discovery sessions with prospects generated via marketing initiatives (inbound, outbound, and referrals).

Prospect Follow-ups: Conduct follow-up meetings with qualified prospects to dive deeper into their needs and transition them toward the commercial proposal phase.

Bespoke Proposal Creation: Craft tailored, high-impact commercial proposals for each sales opportunity based on client requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration (Talent Acquisition): Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to streamline communications and align expectations with prospects in the final stages of the buying cycle.

Contract Negotiation & Closing: Drive contract negotiations and commercial terms with prospects to successfully close new business deals.

Client Handover Management: Execute seamless handovers of newly closed clients to the Account Management team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

In-Person Networking (US Market): Represent the company at in-person networking events in the US, collaborating with Marketing to drive demand and capture high-value qualified leads.

Outbound Prospecting & Social Selling: Run outbound prospecting campaigns (assisted by Marketing) and leverage LinkedIn for social selling to generate demand and secure discovery meetings.

Growth & Revenue Alignment: Contribute to cross-functional Growth meetings with Sales and Marketing to optimize processes, propose demand-generation initiatives, and accelerate deal velocity.

CRM Hygiene & Activity Tracking: Maintain daily CRM discipline to ensure full traceability of sales activities, next steps, engagement history, and marketing/sales nurturing opportunities.
