About the role

The Enterprise Architect Director is responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and governance in designing solutions across all architecture domains and technology standards. Directs the development and application of enterprise architecture best practices, architecture patterns, and playbooks within the company and client organizations. Serves as a trusted advisor, leads the design of innovative solutions and enterprise architecture engagements, and ensures quality project execution by monitoring team performance and adjusting resources as needed. Leads the design of strategy formulation and the mentoring and development of team members to enhance technical capabilities and expertise.
Enterprise Architecture Leadership
Provide enterprise architecture leadership, guidance, and governance on the design of solutions across all architecture domains and technology standards.
Lead the development of enterprise-wide architecture and processes, enterprise
architecture visions, strategies, and roadmaps, architecture patterns, the creation and review of an enterprise capability strategy and policies to support the strategic
requirements of the company and its clients.
Determine the strategic approach to understanding stakeholder objectives and requirements to foster strategic partnership with clients and ensure that the team is perceived as trusted advisors on architecture-related matters.
Enforce application of enterprise architecture best practices on the design of solutions across all architecture domains and technology standards to ensure Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization.
Lead the enterprise architecture engagements with client executives and define architecture for enterprise engagements. Lead the Architecture team members to translate them into effective architectural strategies.
Solution Development and Delivery
Contribute to development of organizational policies, standards and guidelines for the effective and efficient application of system design and integration, database design, data modeling and design, and requirements definition and management activities.
Supports sales initiatives by providing architecture consultation for the evaluation of complex technical solutions, offers technical support across service offering definition and positioning, and recommends alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and / or longer life.
Provides expert guidance in the selection, provision and use of database and data warehouse architectures, software and facilities and ensures that the database database and datawarehouse design policy supports requirements of the business and its clients.
Technical Effort Management
Promotes and coordinates technical knowledge built within the organization.
Tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings.
Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification
Education – Graduate with a Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any related course, MBA or equivalent graduate degree is a plus
Related Work Experience – At least 15 years of experience in building and designing technical solutions in a wide range of architecture domains such as business, application, integration, infrastructure, cloud, and data for IT, Retail, BFSI, Healthcare or any other large enterprises.At least 5 years of which is spent in leading a technology team in designing and implementing large IT and/or digital transformation projects.

Knowledge – Extensive knowledge, proven hands-on experience and expertise in the following:Assessing, designing, and optimizing Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Agility, and Digital Transformation initiatives
Advising on Technology Strategy, focusing on areas like: Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Data, and Security.
Architectural positions, demonstrating proficiency across various technical stack layers (UI/B2C, Applications, Integration, Data, Infrastructure/Cloud, etc.).
Cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and proficiency in cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
Strategic enterprise architecture engagement skills with executive level stakeholders.
Architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Must be TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect or equivalent.
Enterprise architecture governance, including establishing and enforcing architecture standards and policies
Hands on experience and knowledge in complex database concepts and all those technical stacks, tools, platforms, frameworks and languages mentioned in Mid SolArch qualifications.
DevOps and cybersecurity best practices and implementation

Skills:Must have a sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the companys success.
Extensive leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing architecture teams.
Excellent understanding of client challenges and addressing how to solution for a digital transformation
Exceptional presentation skills - ability to convey technology and business value propositions
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Must have excellent organizational skills - ability to organize and manage resources and effectively handle complex pieces of work independently
Must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, ability to network with large groups of people
Must be adept to work in a fast-paced environment with tight SLAs.
