About the role

We are looking for a Product Operations Manager at GLS/NXT to help shape and evolve our OOH parcel locker platform across our international GLS markets and partner ecosystem. In this role, you will support the product team in driving platform development - contributing to roadmap planning, translating stakeholder feedback into actionable product decisions, and keeping internal product operations running smoothly.

You will work closely with support teams ensuring complex problems are resolved and recurring themes feed back into the product roadmap. You will also play an active role in sprint planning, reviews, and other team rituals as part of GLS/NXT.

This role is perfect for someone who is structured, curious, and motivated by building great products. You're comfortable working across operational and product challenges, turning user and stakeholder insights into meaningful improvements, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Tasks

Drive delivery of the roadmap for one product pillar of our OOH parcel locker platform, translating strategic priorities into a clear, prioritized backlog

Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements, keeping the backlog refined and ready for delivery

Prioritize work by balancing user needs, business value, technical constraints, and stakeholder input, and communicate those trade-offs transparently

Partner closely with engineers and designers to deliver against the roadmap, resolving ambiguity and making the day-to-day product decisions that keep delivery moving

Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and other agile rituals for your product pillar

Translate stakeholder and market feedback into structured, actionable product insights for product discovery

Collaborate with customer support to ensure complex issues are resolved and recurring patterns feed back into your backlog

Track and report key product metrics for your pillar, surfacing trends and insights that inform prioritization and roadmap decisions

Maintain clear documentation of requirements, workflows, known issues, and product decisions

Requirements

What you bring

>4 years of experience in product management/ownership, integration, implementation or technical project management in B2B

Experience owning a backlog and writing clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria within agile software delivery (sprint planning, backlog refinement, product rituals)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving and prioritization

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures

A low-ego, hands-on mentality with a strong bias for getting things done, and curiosity for trying new tools and approaches, including AI, to improve how we work

Fundamental understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, system architecture, or digital platform products

Business-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Valid working permit for Germany

Nice to have

Experience with products that combine hardware and software, for example connected devices, IoT, or embedded systems.

Previous experience in logistics is a plus

German language skills are welcome but not required

Comfort working with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking tools

Even if you do not meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply if you believe you are well-suited for the role and can contribute meaningfully to our team.
