About the role

Who we coach

APB coaches residential building company owners across Australia, New Zealand and North America to run professional, profitable businesses. They're brilliant craftsmen, and now they're working on becoming brilliant businessmen and women. On average, builders who start working with us increase their net profit by 44% in their first 12 months.

Accountability, not catch-ups

Many builders come to us after leaving their last coach for the same reason: the sessions turned into friendly weekly catch-ups, and they were paying serious money for a chat.

That never happens here. Every session is a strategic coaching conversation built around accountability. You'll be warm, and real relationships will form naturally, but you never trade the standard for being liked. That's our point of difference, and it's what our clients pay for.

How we work

We live by 7 core values:

We never make assumptions, we ask more questions.

We always do the right thing even when no one else is looking.

We celebrate the wins.

We don't take things personally.

We make decisions and own the result.

We are impeccable with our word.

We trust, but verify.

How to apply

We run a systems-driven business, so we ask you to follow a system to apply. Click Apply and complete every question on the application form. We don't review incomplete applications.

Read every question carefully. One instruction is hidden in the form, and applicants who miss it are out.

Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to the next step.

Coaching is your zone of genius. Everything else, we've handled.

Executive Business Coach | Fully remote, work from home | $144,000 base + super + commission | Full-time permanent

No bookkeeping. No credit control. No cold calling. No networking for new business.

You're already a business coach, running your own practice, coaching for another firm, or building a personal brand as an independent coach. You know what that really means: half your week goes on finding clients, chasing invoices and marketing yourself, and the other half goes on the work you love.

At APB you'd get that whole week back for coaching. We have the marketing engine, the systems and the clients. You bring the coaching.

What you'll do

Coach a book of builders 1-1, holding a hard line of accountability so their plans turn into results.

Follow APB's proven systems for residential home builders, and keep learning and upskilling, because everything is changing at a fast pace.

Run workshops and present, both online and in person. Our coaches are sought after and looked up to in this industry, and presenting is a big part of that.

Create content and share your thought leadership and opinions with APB and our builders.

Lead onboarding, renewal and growth conversations with your clients. We supply the clients. Renewals and cross-sells follow from results, and your focus stays on retention and results.

Contribute to what we're building at APB.

You're right for this if

Coaching is what you'd do all day if you could, and you want to keep getting better at it.

You have 5+ years of coaching or consulting, with results you can measure and prove.

You have owned and run a business. You've carried payroll, tax and compliance pressure yourself. Builders trust a coach who has been there, and it's a big part of why they choose ours.

You use real AI systems, not just chatbots. You've built skills, routines or scheduled automations that do real work for you, and you can talk about them with confidence. We already run many AI tools across the company, and we want you to hit the ground running.

You're confident presenting, whether that's a workshop on Zoom or a room full of builders.

A P&L tells you a story, and you can make complex business principles simple for someone who has just come off the tools.

You bring energy and ambition, and you want to grow as part of a team rather than on your own.

Residential construction experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

This role is not for you if

You want comfortable weekly chats with clients you like.

You've never owned or run a business.

You'd rather build your own system than run a proven one brilliantly.

What you get

$144,000 base salary plus super, plus commission on top. Commission runs on a points system: the more progress your clients make, and the more coaching value under your care, the more you earn.

Full-time and permanent.

Fully remote, working from home anywhere in Australia. You must be based in Australia with full Australian working rights. Your clients are across Australia, New Zealand and North America, so some calls fall early in the morning.

Clients supplied, backed by a full marketing engine and proven systems.

Learning and development every week inside the coaching team.

A front-row seat to the cutting edge of what APB is implementing, in AI and beyond.
